Abstract:

PURPOSE:To stabilize the multicolor expression of a color hard copy which has utilized an area gradation method by providing a counter for counting the number of data so that a video signal is not fetched in a state that it remains an inappropriate threshold. CONSTITUTION:In a video interface circuit for binarizing an RGB image signal having a gradation by plural thresholds and obtaining a color print of multicolor by an area gradation method, a data counter 8 which can count the number of data written in an image memory 7 is provided. In this state, in case a value of this counter does not coincide whenever it is inputted, a CPU 4 corrects a value of the threshold. In such a way, noise-like printing which is generated at the time hen a gradation level of the image signal and the threshold have coincided is eliminated, and a stable color hard copy is obtained.
