PURPOSE: To obtain the subject preparation not lowering thrombin activity when used jointly with an antacid and excellent in stability.
CONSTITUTION: This preparation does not cause lowering of thrombin when jointly used with an antacid (e.g. aluminunu silicate or magnesium carbonate). Preferably, the preparation does not contain the antacid. Thrombin derived from human is preferably blended with 50-500mg, 10-100mg arginine and 10-100mg citric acid based on 500-10000 'unit of thrombin derived from human as dried preparation in the preparation. Furthermore, the preparation is preferably used in a form of a kit from the viewpoint of keeping thrombin activity and as the kit and the kit includes e.g. a kit composed of a solid like thrombin preparation for kit not containing the antacid and a liquid antacid which are each put in a different container. When the preparation is used in a kit form, the antacid is administered and then, the thrombin preparation is administered or both of them are simultaneously preferably administered.
