Abstract:

PURPOSE: To absorve a play in a link system to ensure the synchronization of a multiplex carburettor, by constituting a throttle valve link mechanism with a single drive lever and a plurality of follower levers, and as well by urging the second lever section of each follower lever by means of a spring in the direction in which a throttle valve is closed.

CONSTITUTION: A drive lever 28 is coupled to a throttle valve shaft 22 in one carburettor of a multiplex carburettor, and follower levers 29, 30 are coupled to valve shafts 21, 23 in the remaining carburettors with the drive lever 28 and the follower levers 29, 30 being coupled together with the used of a coupling means 34. Each follower lever is composed of a first lever section 39 directly coupled to the associated throttle valve shaft and a second lever section 40 directly coupled to the coupling means 34 with a spring 42 being disposed between the first and second lever sections 39, 40 so that the first lever section 39 is urged in the direction in which the throttle valve is closed. The second lever section 40 is coupled to the coupling means with no gap in the direction of closing of the throttle valve.
