Abstract:
To improve chip discharge performance.
On a ridge line of an upper surface 12 of a throw-away tip 10 in a roughly hexagonal plate of a throw-away tip 10, a cutting blade 15 comprising a first cutting blade 16 in a roughly chevron shaped first cutting blade 16, and a pair of second cutting blades connected to both ends of the first cutting blade 16 through steps 18 is provided. The cutting blade 15 is formed roughly in a chevron form as a whole, and a pair of these are formed to face each other to be rotation-symmetric. At the time of cutting, fine chip separated by the first cutting blade 16 and one second cutting blade 17 is generated.
