Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shorts type throw-away wearing article folded in such a manner that these articles can be easily housed into individual bags or packages.
SOLUTION: The shorts type throw-away wearing articles 1 are formed by arranging elastic members 5 and 6 around the legs in an extended state at the peripheral edges of openings 24 around the legs and separating these elastic members 5 and 6 around the legs to an outer side from the side edges of cores 4 so as to exist along the peripheral edges of the openings 24 around the legs. The spacing distances between the elastic members 5 and 6 around the legs and the side edges of the cores 4 are larger in the other than the one of front and rear girth areas 20 and 22 on the basis of nearly the central part of a groin area 21. The wearing articles 1 are two-folded to one side of either of the front and rear girth areas 20 and 22 where the spacing distance is larger via a folding line Y in such a manner that the upper part 1a and lower part 1b of the wearing articles 1 segmented by the folding line Y extending in a transverse direction by bisecting the wearing articles in the vertical direction thereof are overlapped with each other.
