Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a throw-in type immersing heater tube which is easy to move without fixing it to a furnace, can be immersed in and taken out from any place at any time when required, repeatedly used by using an insulated container, used as an additional heat source of an existing furnace and allows an existing controller to be used to control the temperature of molten metal.
CONSTITUTION: A flange 2 is provided around the upper edge or upper circumference of an opening of a heat-resistant tube 1 with a built-in heating device inside. A setting-carrying device 8 with a handle 15 has a hole 17 through which the tube 1 can be inserted, a contact face with which the downside of the flange 2 comes in contact when the tube 1 is inserted in the hole 17 and a contact face which comes in contact with the upside of the peripheral part of a hole in a support plate provided on a furnace or a container when the tube 1 is inserted into the hole in the support plate. The tube 1 is inserted into the hole 17 of the setting-carrying device 8 from above and the tube 1 and the setting- carrying device 8 are fixed together.
