Abstract:
To provide a long-life thrust bearing in which a retainer is prevented from breaking.
The thrust bearing includes: a first raceway ring which has a first raceway surface; a second raceway ring which has a second raceway surface; a plurality of rolling elements which are arranged in a rollable manner between the first raceway surface and the second raceway surface; and the retainer which retains the rolling elements at equal intervals in the circumferential direction. The retainer is made of a synthetic resin, and a pocket gap is 2% to 5% of the diameter of the rolling elements.
