To provide a thumbing machine which enables anyone to enjoy a flip animation simply with an inexpensive configuration without thumbing several flip paper sheets altogether.
The thumbing machine is constituted so that the flip paper sheets are housed in a flip paper holding part on a shaft side, and a rotating side fitted rotatably to the shaft side and provided with a thumbing part is rotated to forcibly bent the flip paper sheets, then the flip animation can be viewed by means of the further rotation and the restoring force of the flip paper sheets to which the bending force is released. The rear wall of the flip paper sheet holding part is formed into a projecting R shape so that the deviation for every paper sheet at the top ends of the flip paper sheets housed along its shape is made larger as toward the leading surface side of the paper sheet.
