To reduce a cost in a tightening screw structure of shears by improving a knob which is expensive for insert-molding a nut in a synthetic resin material.
The knob A is threadedly engaged with a bolt 5 penetrating from one blade body side to the other blade body side in a pivot part of a pair of blade bodies 8 and 9 to adjust the tightening force. The knob A comprises a synthetic resin knob body 1, a nut 3 and a cap 7. The synthetic resin knob body 1 is formed with a recess 2 capable of storing the nut 3 in the state prevented from loosely turning. The bottom wall of the recess 2 is provided with a through-hole having such a dimension as allowing the penetration of the shaft part 5b of the bolt, and the opening end of the recess 2 is installed with the cap 7 preventing the falling of the stored nut 3. The nut 3 loosely moving in the recess 2 of the knob body 1 is stabilized by tightening the knob around the bolt 5.
