Abstract:
To provide a tile construction method and a tile curving jig capable of preventing the formation of a gap between the central portion of the tile and a base.SOLUTION: The tile construction method for attaching a tile 11 to a concrete base 13 (base) coated with a mortar 12 includes a curving step in which a central portion 14 of the tile 11 is curved so as to protrude toward a back surface 16 side from a first edge 151 and a second edge 152 (edge) of the tile 11, a contacting step in which the central portion 14 of the curved tile 11 is brought into contact with the mortar 12 before the first edge 151 and the second edge 152, and an uncurving step of returning the curved tile 11 to a flat state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
