To eliminate the hindrance of flow of tiles between guide plates so as to improve the operation rate of each process made continuous by a conveying device by connecting vibrating source for imparting vibration to the guide plates for conveying the tiles in an aligned state.
A large number of guide plates 7, 7a are provided almost parallelly in the width direction of a flat belt 4. The spacing of the guide plates 7, 7a on the upper reaches of conveyance is made wide, and the spacing of the guide plates 7, 7a on the lower reaches of conveyance is made gradually narrower so as to align tiles W, discharged on the lower reaches of conveyance, close to each other. Vibrating source 13 for imparting vibration to the guide plates 7, 7a are connected to lateral rods 10, 10a. The hindrance of flow of tiles W between the guide plates 7, 7a is thereby eliminated so as to improve the operation rate of each process made continuous by a conveying device 1.
