PURPOSE: To contrive simplification of tile-laying work and improvement of watertightness, by laying a plurality of tiles with holding fixtures over a plane to be covered, and by filling joints between the respective tiles with silicone sealants.

CONSTITUTION: A plurality of tiles 1 in any shape are laid over a plane 4 to be covered with holding fixtures 2. Joints 51 between the respective tiles 1 are filled with silicone sealants. After hardening of the sealants, the joints 5 in a rubbery-elastic-body-form are formed. By this method, laying of the tiles 1 and forming of the joints 5 can be carried out easily, thereby simplifying works required by the tile-laying. At the same time, watertightness can be improved.
