PURPOSE: To provide a tile unit having both the incombustibility necessary for roof material and the workability necessary for floor material.

CONSTITUTION: A plurality of tiles T are stuck onto the surface of a sheet base material S to which incombustible performance is imparted by covering a core material 3 formed of glass fiber nonwoven fabric with layers 2, 4 mainly containing an inorganic material such as calcium carbonate or aluminium hydroxide to constitute a tile unit U. Since this tile unit U has incombustibility, and flexibility is also imparted thereto by using the flexible nonwoven fabric as the core material, it is excellent in workability. Thus, an incombustible tile floor surface can be easily constructed.
