Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time constant processing circuit capable of rightly performing time constant processing of a gain through simple processing and following the instantaneous gain as well.
SOLUTION: This circuit has a first integrator 21 for inputting a signal, a first attack coefficient and a first release coefficient and applying a time constant to the signal and a second integrator 22 for inputting the output of the first integrator, a second attack coefficient and a second release coefficient and applying a time constant to the output of the first integrator. Then, the first attack coefficient is set to zero, the second attack coefficient is set to a value corresponding to a desired attack time, and the first and second release coefficients are set to values, with which the total of time constants becomes a desired release time.
