Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time-of-flight mass analysis apparatus that has a traveling track and can easily inject and eject ions.
SOLUTION: Ions are traveled in a closed track formed by a plurality of sector electric fields. A reflection is disposed on the traveling track and has an opening through which ions traveling on the closed track are passed when not actuated. An ion detector is provided for detecting ions ejected from the traveling track by the reflection.
