Title:
TIMER CIRCUIT FOR PROGRAMMABLE CONTROLLER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6441006
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce a time error caused by the setting step position of a timer by using a clock input control means which supplies the clock signal received from a clock generator to a timer arithmetic means. CONSTITUTION:A clock input control means 7 is set between a clock generator 5 and a timer arithmetic means 6. Then the means 7 conducts by a command given from a CPU 1 synchronously with the drive (ON) of a timer set on a program. Thus the clock signals received from the generator 5 are supplied to a timer arithmetic means 6 for start of a counting job and the count value of a timer is calculated. As a result, the count value of the timer is approximately equal to the actual elapsed time and a highly accurate timer is obtained.
