Abstract:
PURPOSE:To extend the life of a switch, by generating on/off signals when the value of a preset counter setting the position of on/off and the value of a cycle counter counting an input frequency are coincident. CONSTITUTION:The output of a frequency conveter 1 is counted at a cycle counter 2 and the result is displayed. An on-angle of a drum driven with a motor M' is set to an on-preset counter 4 and an off-angle is set to an off-preset counter 5. The angle of the counter 2 and the angle of the counters 4 and 5 are respectively compared at a counter 3, and when the output of the counter 2 reaches a set angle of the counter 4, the comparator 3 is operated and the on- signal is outputted, and similarly when the output of the counter 2 reaches a set angle of the counter 5, the comparator 3 outputs an off-signal. Thus, a timing switch 1 with extended life, easy handling, high accuracy and safety can be achieved.
