PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To capture a cell without damaging the same, and to increase the speed of passage of a cell suspension through a hole in a tip for cell capturing.SOLUTION: A tip for cell capturing 10 is comprised of a substrate with a first surface 11 as a main surface, a second surface 12, and a through-hole 13 which penetrates the first surface 11 toward the second surface 12 and can capture a single cell. The through-hole 13 has, in the inside thereof, a constricted part with a diameter less than the opening diameter of the first surface 11 and the opening diameter of the second surface 12, the constricted part being provided in a boundary between an inner wall on the first surface side and an inner wall on the second surface side, the inner wall on the second surface side is a hydrophilic treated surface which promotes the passage of liquid to the second surface side from the first surface side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
