Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip saw in which fluctuation in a limitation amount of each blade can be suppressed in such a manner that an outer peripheral surface of a limitation blade is polished simultaneously with a chip apical surface polishing and of which durability can be sufficiently extended, and a method for manufacturing the chip saw.SOLUTION: After a limitation blade is projected to an outer peripheral side with respect to an apical surface of a chip fastened to a chip fastening part when molding a base metal and the chip is fastened to the chip fastening part, the apical surface of the chip and an outer peripheral surface of the limitation blade are simultaneously polished, and after polishing, only the apical surface of the chip is polished. A polishing machine has a diamond wheel. After the apical surface of the chip and the outer peripheral surface of the limitation blade are polished by the diamond wheel, the diamond wheel is moved by a specified quantity in a radial direction of the base metal thereby polishing only the apical surface of the chip.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
