Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire assembly in which a pump unit can be simplified and down-sized, suitable rolling resistance can be obtained and a desired tire inner pressure can be maintained by the pump unit, without increasing the mass and the volume of a piston part of the pump unit for obtaining a desired centrifugal force.SOLUTION: A tire assembly comprises a pneumatic tire and a pump unit 13 coupled with a valve of the pneumatic tire, and the pump unit 13 includes a piston part 20 and a cylinder part 21 arranged around the outer peripheral surface of the piston part 20. An air-tight chamber 24 is formed by partitioning an edge 22 at a tire rotation axis side of the piston part 20 and an inside surface 23 of the cylinder part 21, and the cylinder part 21 is arranged at a tire rotation axis O side with respect to the piston part 20 so as to move relatively with respect to the piston part in a direction of compressing the air-tight chamber 24 by a centrifugal force generated by tire rotation.
