Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing apparatus for a tire component with improved engagement performance, and a manufacturing method for a tire using this apparatus.SOLUTION: A molding apparatus 1 is equipped with a drum body 2. The drum body 2 includes a first drum body 4 and a second drum body 5. Inner edges of the first drum body 4 and the second drum body 5 have recessed and protruding parts aligned in a drum circumferential direction, respectively. The protruding parts of the first drum body 4 can enter the recessed parts of the second drum body 5, and the protruding parts of the second drum body 5 can enter the recessed parts of the first drum body 4. The protruding parts have a smaller width in the circumferential direction of the drum from a root toward a tip, respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
