To make a calculation cost meet effective improvement in tire performance in optimization using a tire shape and a tire structure as design variables respectively.
In a main routine in relation to an objective function 1 and a design variable 1, a sensitivity analysis and one-dimensional search are executed to find the solution of the design variable 1 (S20-22). The design variable 1 is renewed with this solution (S24) to enter a subroutine in relation to an objective function 2 and a design variable 2. Then, the sensitivity analysis and one-dimensional search are executed to find the solution of the design variable 2 (S26-28). The design variable 2 is renewed with this solution (S30), and the convergence of the objective function 2 is determined (S32). When the objective function 2 is converged, or the repetition times of the subroutine reaches the prescribed times even if it is not converged, the operation returns back to the main routine and the convergence of the objective function 1 is determined (S34). The above optimizing calculation of the main routine and the subroutine is repeated until the objective function 1 is converged.
