Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably remove air stagnation without an elaborate device.
SOLUTION: A clamp 15 forms an external seal when a lower seal portion 14 and an upper seal portion 17 clamp bead parts 4 of a tire 1 from both sides. A filling pipe 23 for filling the interior of the clamp 15 with air and a suction pipe 24 for evacuating the interior of the clamp 15 to seat the bead parts 4 of the tire 1 forcibly on seating surfaces 7 of a rim 6 are connected to piping 21 via a selector valve 22. After the tire 1 is filled with internal pressure via the filling pipe 23, the suction pipe 24 provides evacuation to seat the bead parts 4 forcibly on the seating surfaces 7 of the rim 6. The clamping of only the vicinities of the bead parts 4 ensures internal pressure filling and air stagnation removal of the tire 1 in the same process to enable reliable air stagnation removal without an elaborate device when the tire 1 is mounted on a wheel 5.
