Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire inflation pressure drop warning device that can detect a pressure reduction in a tire even during high-speed vehicle travel.
SOLUTION: The tire inflation pressure drop warning device for detecting an internal pressure drop in a tire from wheel speed information obtained from vehicle wheels and warning the driver about it comprises wheel speed information detecting means for detecting wheel speed information on the respective tires, a memory means for storing the wheel speed information on each tire, an arithmetic means for calculating a determination value from vehicle speed and the wheel speed information on each tire, and a determining means for determining a tire inflation pressure drop on the basis of the correlation between the vehicle speed and the tire outside diameter in high-speed travel.
