Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reconcile the riding comfortableness with upgrading of steerability by varying and controlling a tire longitudinal spring constant promptly according to the traveling conditions.
CONSTITUTION: Cells 6 and 7 separated from a tire air chamber 3 are provided in side walls 4 and 5 of a tire 1, respectively. Also, a fluid feeding and draining means for feeding and draining fluid to and from the cells 6 and 7, respectively, and a control means for controlling the fluid feeding and draining means according to the traveling conditions of a vehicle are provided on this device.
