Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire pneumatic pressure lowering judging method that can positively judge whether the pneumatic pressure of a tire is lowered or not even in the case of a vehicle cruising automatically at high speed.
SOLUTION: Longitudinal acceleration FRA of a vehicle is obtained on the basis of the turning angular velocity of a tire, and whether or not the absolute value of the obtained longitudinal acceleration FRA of the vehicle is the threshold value or less is discriminated (S13). In the case of &verbar FRA&verbar <ATH, the vehicle is judged to be automatically cruising, and processing for automatic cruising is executed (S14-S21). In automatic cruising processing, whether or not the pneumatic pressure of the tire is lowered is judged on the basis of the judgment value D3 obtained in the case of the vehicle traveling almost linearly and subjected to smoothing and the judgment threshold value DHTH set smaller as the speed becomes higher.
