Abstract:

To provide a tire retreading method including a stage for removing a tire tread from a tire casing so as to be capable of forming a buff-treated surface without using conventional spray cement and a tire assembly formed by this method.

A retreaded tire assembly and a method for forming the same are disclosed. A new tread 60 can be applied to a tire easing 12 to which buffing treatment is applied in such a state that only a cushion gum layer 50 is arranged. The cushion gum layer 50 is directly applied to the buff-treated outer periphery of the tire easing 12 without using conventional spray cement usually applied to the buff-treated surface 44 of the whole of the casing 12.
