Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the constitution of a power storage device, and the charge/discharge control in a tire sensor unit having a generator and the power storage device.SOLUTION: A tire sensor unit 3 includes: a generator 21 for generating the electric energy as a vehicle wheel is rotated; a small-capacity power storage device 23 which stores the electric energy generated by the generator 21, and discharges the stored electric energy and supplies it to a processing circuit unit 9; a large-capacity power storage device 24 which stores the electric energy generated by the generator 21, and discharges the stored electric energy and supplies it to the processing circuit unit 9; and charge/discharge control units (8, 14) for controlling the charge/discharge of the power storage devices 23, 24. The charge/discharge control unit preferentially achieves the charge to the small-capacity power storage device 23 in preference to the charge to the large-capacity power storage device 24, and preferentially achieves the discharge from the large-capacity power storage device 24 in preference to the discharge from the small-capacity power storage device 23.
