Abstract:
To improve market reproducibility for groove cracks.SOLUTION: A tire testing method includes: a traveling step of rotating a pneumatic tire 100 while the pneumatic tire 100 is exposed to ozone and applied with a load under the atmosphere adjusted to a predetermined temperature; and a stopping step of stopping the rotation of the pneumatic tire 100 while the pneumatic tire 100 is exposed to ozone and applied with a load under the atmosphere adjusted to the predetermined temperature. The tire testing method switches between the traveling step and the stopping step alternately for a predetermined number of times, and changes at least any one of the temperature of the atmosphere and the density of ozone to which the pneumatic tire 100 is exposed between the traveling step and the stopping step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
