To prevent a force component measuring device mounted on a spindle shaft from being affected by a belt when a rotation measuring device measures the rotation of a spindle shaft by means of the belt.
A tire testing device 1 includes: a tire spindle 5 rotatably having the spindle shaft 6 holding a tire T; the force component measuring device 15 for measuring force components of the tire T; the rotation measuring device 22 for measuring rotation states of the shaft 6; and a rotation transmission belt 23 for transmitting the rotation of the shaft 6 to the rotation measuring device 22. One or more balance belts 24, having the same stiffness and size as the belt 23, are further placed around the shaft 6 for transmitting the rotation of the shaft 6 to outside, are arranged at position(s) rotationally symmetrical to the belt 23, as viewed in the axial direction of the shaft 6, with respect to the axis of the shaft 6.
