Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a communication distance between a sensor unit provided inside a tire and an external communication device provided outside the tire.SOLUTION: A tire valve unit 3 comprises a tire valve 20 that is fitted to a rim 7 of a vehicle wheel 5, and a sensor unit 10 that is integrated with the tire valve 20 and disposed inside a tire fitted to the vehicle wheel 5. The tire valve 20 is formed by fitting a cylindrical body part 22 made of rubber to an outer periphery of a valve stem 21 formed into a cylindrical shape. The sensor unit 10 has a transmission/reception part, which communicates with a portable communication terminal, inside a case 42. The transmission/reception part is connected with a coil-shaped antenna 17. The valve stem 21 made of a magnetic material is inserted into the antenna 17.
