PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a manufacturing period of time and give an adequate strength to a molded curve part by roll-molding a metal wire rod into an intermediate material with a desired widthwise cross section shape and forming it by cutting and perforating process as desired.
SOLUTION: A metal wire rod 1 is rolled while passing through a passage in a first roller 3 from the upstream side of a roller die device 2, into an intermediate material 1A with an upper and a lower flat part. After thermally processing this intermediate material 1A, it is allowed to pass through a second roller 6, and further, is rolled into a flat form, so that it is now changed to an intermediate material 1B with right/left cross sections of different thickness from each other. Nut, this intermediate material 1B, after undergoing a thermal process, is allowed to pass through a third roller 9 so that it is now changed to an intermediate material 1C with a cross section close to a final shape. After allowing this intermediate material 1C to receive a thermal process, it is changed to an intermediate material with a cross section almost approximate to a final shape by drawing it with a die. Thus a sipe blade is formed by cutting and perforating the intermediate material as desired.
