Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent indication from becoming defective and troubles at the time of delivery and storage in respect of an automotive tire having the indication such as labeling letters etc. on a tire side by providing the indication in a form dented from the tire surface. CONSTITUTION:In case that a indication 5 is provided on a side wall portion 4 in a tire side face 2, mainly in a space from a sholder portion 3 to a rim line, it is formed as a recessed type with a slight recess from a tire surface provided. For the form of this indication 5, the recess is provided by means of a indication forming convex portion integrated with a tire valcanizing-forming mold. Such a constitution can prevents the contact of indication like happenings to a projected indication and obstruction of delivery due to indication damages and scratches and so on.
