Abstract:
To enhance quality of tissue paper to be manufactured.SOLUTION: A tissue paper manufacturing method includes: a winding process for winding a base paper set in which multiple pieces of base papers in a band shape are overlapped on a roll; a feeding process for feeding out the base paper set of the roll wound in the winding process; a cutting process for cutting the base paper set along the longitudinal direction of the base paper set; and an engagement process for engaging the base papers forming the base paper set. The cutting process includes: an upstream cutting process for cutting the base paper set in the upstream process of the winding process; and a downstream cutting process for further cutting the base paper set cut in the upstream cutting process in the downstream process of the feeding process. The engagement process includes: a temporary engagement process in which base papers forming the base paper set are engaged at an arbitrary position in the upstream process of the winding process; and a main engagement process in which base papers forming the base paper set are engaged at a predetermined position corresponding to the end of the tissue paper product in the downstream process of the feeding process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
