Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple supporting device for cups or the like which is mounted on a recessed portion accomodating articles provided in the cabin of an automobile.
SOLUTION: The supporting device is provided with a housing 1 fixed on the side of a recessed portion accomodating articles and a shaft 2 rotatably supported on the housing 1, and an elastic tongue 5 and cams 9, 10, 11 engaging with the elastic tongue 5 are formed at a part position in the housing 1 between the housing 1 and the shaft 2, and a flap 7 supporting cups or the like is integrally formed and projected at a part of the shaft projected outward from the housing. Then, according to a selective engagement relation between the elastic tongue 5 and the cams 9-11, the flap 7 is locked in an unuse position in which the recessed portion accomodating articles is not affected and in plural use positions in which cups or the like are supported correspondingly to their diameter to assure the original use of the recessed portion as a container and also to make recessed portion used as a cup-holder.
