To provide compactly boxed tissue paper with suppressed height of a containing box per the number of contained paper sheets without harming quality of the tissue paper.
This is tissue paper used for a tissue paper product of a plurality of two-sheets sets of tissue paper folded into a so-called pop-up system and boxed in an almost rectangular parallelopiped box. The ratio of the inside height of a box against the number of contained tissue paper sheets is 40/400-60/400 mm/sheet and the thickness of 0.030-0.043 mm by JIS P 8118 (on condition 20±2°C of temperature and 65±2% of relative humidity), the tensile strength of a two-sheets set of the tissue paper by JIS S 3104 is 0.6-2.0 N/25 mm in a cross direction and dry condition, and the water absorptivity is equal to or lower than 8 sec by JIS S 3104.
