To provide a biocompatible bioresorbable implantable tissue implant for resurfacing and functionally repairing a joint surface for delaying the progression of damage of a cartilage caused by a degenerative joint disease such as a metatypical joint disease.
A biocompatible bioresorbable tissue repair implant 30 or a skeleton device 32 is provided for resurfacing and/or repairing a damaged or diseased cartilage particularly for use in repairing an injury of a variety of cartilage tissues. A repairing procedure is performed by using the tissue repair implant including a biological component that assists in delaying or arresting the deterioration of the degenerative joint disease, and assists in enhancing healing or repair of the tissue. The biocompatible bioresorbable tissue repair implant includes a skeleton and a particle of a viable tissue derived from the cartilage tissue, and the tissue and the skeleton become associated. The particle of a living tissue contains one or more viable cells livable in the skeleton by migrating from the tissue.
