Title:
TITANIUM DIOXIDE PARTICLE, PHOTOELECTRIC TRANSDUCER ELEMENT USING THIS TITANIUM DIOXIDE PARTICLE, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF TITANIUM DIOXIDE PARTICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005263524
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To yield titanium dioxide particles of which the primary particles are uniform, and which do not cause the occurrence of aggregation even without dispersing in a dispersion liquid, also do not generate chlorine difficult to handle, and are excellent in storability and in dispersibility in an acidic aqueous solution.

The titanium dioxide particle 21c contains 70-95 wt% anatase crystal, has a BET specific surface area of 65-120 m2/g and has an oil absorption of 70-90 mL/100 g measured according to JIS K 5101. The photoelectric transducer element 10 is composed of a light-transmitting substrate 11 and a porous membrane 21b formed thereon and having adsorbed a pigment; the porous membrane 21b having adsorbed the pigment contains the above titanium dioxide particles 21c.
