Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of a motor and to eliminate the turbulence of a current flowing through a winding, by providing operation capacitors for high speed, intermediate speed and low speed respectively, and switching them. CONSTITUTION:A main winding 21 and an auxiliary winding 22 are arranged at an angle of 90 deg. to each other electrically on a stator core, and at the time of high-speed operation, an operation capacitor 24 for high speed is connected serially to the auxiliary winding 22 by a switching relay 7 and further is connected in parallel to the main winding 21 and operated. At the time of intermediate-speed and low-speed operations, the operation capacitor 25 for intermediate speed and the operation capacitor 26 for low speed, which are provided separately from the operation capacitor 24 for high speed, are connected serially to the load winding 22 respectively in accordance with a load.
