Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide an activated sludge treatment apparatus low in cost, easy in maintenance and control and capable of simplifying work. CONSTITUTION:A reciprocating jet reactor 17 having a large number of perforated discs arranged in the tank thereof and equipped with a drive device reciprocally moving the discs up and down and mixing raw water, air and activated sludge in the tank to treat raw water is provided and raw water and air are supplied to the reciprocating jet reactor 17 and a mixed solution is discharged. The discharged mixed solution is supplied to a treatment tank 11 without destructing air bubbles and separating activated sludge and the aforementioned air bubbles are destructed in the treatment tank 11, and activated sludge is utilized along with the activated sludge in the treatment tank 11. Therefore, a foam destroyer for destructing air bubbles, a sedimentation tank for separating activated sludge and a pump for returning the activated sludge separated in the sedimentation tank become unnecessary.
