Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent leakage of smelt along the bottom and the back of a cooling-free type smelt spout of a soda recovery boiler and corrosion of a wall plate outside of a furnace.
CONSTITUTION: A fan-shaped leakage preventing plate 8 perpendicularly intersecting the longer direction of a spout is fixed to the back of a cooling-free type smelt spout 7. Since a leakage path of smelt 6 leaking along the bottom and the back of the spout 7 is more separated from the spout, the smelt 6 is cooled, solidified and does not reach a wall plate 3 outside a furnace.
