To make a drive arrangement compact by utilizing the operating cylinders serving for the pivot drive of a front roof part also for the relative pivoting of a rear roof part, and connecting the operating cylinders to the lever arm of a pillar via a rotary slide articulation which can be blocked for common pivot movement phases of the front roof part and the rear roof part.

A front roof part 2 is formed with a roof cap 3 at the front, a hinge-connected roof frame 4 at the side, and a main cross member 5 at the rear. A rear roof part 6 is continued to the front roof part 2 and extends to a rear ogival member 7 from the main cross member 5, and its side leg sections are supported in the final end range of roof pillars 8 via crank rocking links 18. The rear ends of the crank rocking links 18 are supported on the leg sections of the rear ogival member 7 so that the rear ogival member 7 can be rocked around shaft pins 15 via the rocking drive devices of the crank rocking links 18. Operating cylinders are required on one side only, not on both sides, thus the whole drive arrangement can be made compact.
