Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the reliability and efficiency of keying input by having the keying input of address information shared by skilled persons and unskilled persons. CONSTITUTION:An address scanning section 2 forms image data D1 by scanning the respective address entry surfaces of postal matter 101. An image storage section 3 stores the image data D1. An identification number attaching section 4 codes and prints identification numbers to respective pieces of the postal matter. An identification number reading section 5 reads the identification numbers printed on the respective pieces of the postal matter. Input terminal devices 81 to 8n respectively have display sections and key input sections and respective operators input the address information from the key input sections while viewing the screen of the image data displayed in the display sections. An input order setting section 6 allots the input operation corresponding to the degrees of skill of the operators by operator identification codes K1 to Kn inputted from the key input sections. An entire part control section 7 controls the respective parts in the device. A classifying and stacking section 9 classifies and stacks the postal matter into the classification boxes by each delivery classification by receiving the classification control signals C2 from the entire part control section 7.
