Title:
PHOTOCONDUCTIVE CELL AND ITS MANUFACTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5951578
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve conservation characteristics at a high temperature of the photoconductive cell by constituting the photoconductive layer of the surface of the photoconductive cell by forming a thin-film of a high resistance value consisting of cadmium sulfide or cadmium selenide or these solid solution or mixture. CONSTITUTION:The photoconductive layer is formed to the surface of an insulating substrate 1 made of ceramics, pectinate opposite electrodes are formed, and lead pins 4a, 4b are inserted and the head sections of each pin are connected electrically to the opposite electrodes. The thin-film 6 consisting of cadmium sulfide or cadmium selenide or these solid solution of mixture is formed to the surface of at least photoconductive layer of the surface of such a photoconductive cell. The substrate 1, the photoconductive layer, electrode sections and the thin- film 6 are coated with an epoxy group resin. The thin-film 6 is transparent and has the extremely high resistance value, and functions substantially as a transparent insulating film and serves as the protection of the inside.
