Title:
INK JET RECORDER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5814762
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To solve the trouble of bubbles and clogging by mounting an air pressure-forwarding means on its midway of an ink conduit and an ink suction cover with a space section for sucking ink and a suction means to the front of an injection nozzle.

CONSTITUTION: When record is completed, a recording head 1 is moved to the suction cover section 6, and a changeover valve 4 set up on its midway of the ink conduit is changed over to the air pressure-forwarding pump 5 side. When the pump 5 is operated and air is sent in at that time, ink in the conduit 3-2 and the recording head 1 is blown off from the nozzle 23. Since the ink is received into the space section 6a of the suction cover 6, a suction pump 8 is operated simultaneously at that time, and the ink is forwarded to a waste fluid tank 9. According to such operation, there is no danger of clogging because no ink remains in the recording head 1, and clogging due to the evaporation of ink, etc. can also be prevented because ink is also extracted from the conduit 3-2 section into which air flows positively.
