Abstract:
Antiparasitic treatment of sites infested (or capable of being infested) by darkling beetles comprises application of a composition comprising \- 1 compound of formula (I): X = N or CR12;R1 = halo, CN or Me; R2 = S(O)nR3, T' or 4,5-dicyanoimidazol-2-yl; R3 = T or T'; R4 = H, halo, NR5R6, S(O)mR7, COR7, CO2R7, T, T', OR8 or N=CR9R10; R5, R6 = H, T, T', COT, TOCO or S(O)rCF3; or NR5R6 = completes an unsaturated heterocyclyl (optionally containing 1-2 divalent heteroatoms, e.g. O or S); R7 = T or T'; R8 = H, T or T'; R9 = H or T; R10 = phenyl or heteroaryl (both optionally substituted by one or more halo or e.g. OH, OT, ST, CN or T); R11, R12 = H, halo, CN or NO2; R13 = halo, T', T'O, S(O)qCF3 or SF5; m, n, q, r = 0-2; T = alkyl; and T' = haloalkyl; Provided that when R1 = Me, then: (i) R3 = T', R4 = NH2, R11 = Cl, R13 = CF3 and X = N; or (ii) R2 = 4,5-dicyanoimidazol-2-yl, R4 = Cl, R11 = Cl, R13 = CF3 and X = CCl.
