PURPOSE: To obtain a television(TV) receiver capable of displaying a child lock state without deteriorating pictures and increasing power consumption even when an exclusive LED is not prepared.

CONSTITUTION: A control device 2 is connected to a receiver 1 and plural LEDs 3, 4 and power supply voltage VCC is impressed to the device 2. When a TV is turned to a stand-by state after impressing the voltage VCC, the device 2 turns on the LED 3 while holding the LED 4 at OFF, and when an image reception command signal is applied from the receiver 1, turns off the LED 3 and turns on the LED 4. When a child lock state is started after applying a child lock signal from the receiver 1, the device 2 turns on and off the LED 3 for a prescribed time and then completely turns off it while holding the OFF state of the LED 4. When an image reception command signal is applied from the receiver 1 in the child lock state, the device 2 turns on and off only the LED 3 and then completely turns off it.
