Title:
OPTICAL RECORDING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6048396
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable writing due to small light energy and to simplify the constitution of a recording medium, by oxidizing a thin film obtained by the vacuum vapor deposition of phthalocyanine by using laser beam to change the reflectivity and transmittance thereof.

CONSTITUTION: A thin film with a thickness of, pref., 0.05W0.5μm obtained by the vacuum vapor deposition of phthalocyanine such as aluminum phthalocyanine is pref. treated with a solvent such as THF or pyridine. Subsequently, this treated thin film is oxidized by using semiconductive laser beam with a beam diameter of 2μm and power of 50mW to perform recording.

EFFECT: It is unnecessary to provide a protective layer for preventing the adhesion of a sublimed substance.
