Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an automatic hot water filling apparatus which has the function of high temperature adding mode with excellent safety. CONSTITUTION: A hot water filling tube 6 is branched to the hot water supply tube 5 of a gas water heater 1, and the end side of the tube 6 is connected to the wall of a bathtub 7. A pressure sensor 14 for detecting the water level of the bathtub 7 is provided at the tube 6. A controller 15 for controlling the hot water filling operation judges whether the water level detected value is zero nor not by the sensor 14 when a high temperature water adding mode is designated, judges that the bathtub 7 is vacant when the level is zero, and stops the adding mode so that, when an infant plays in the bathtub 7, no high temperature water is applied to the infant.
