Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve suction performance of a piston pump with simple constitution by forming the widths of openings formed on the end wall of a cylinder block larger than the widths of a plurality of discharge ports formed on a control plate. CONSTITUTION:When a cylinder block 6 is driven to rotate with a driving shaft 3, pistons 8 are reciprocated by pushing with a inclined hanger 10, sucked fluid in a cylinder chamber 7 from a suction port 14 through a suction port 17 and an opening 13 is discharged to discharge ports 15, 16 from the cylinder chamber 7 through openings 13, 13' and two discharge ports 18, 19, by rotation of the cylinder block 6. In the above-stated constitution, the widths W1, W2 of the openings 13, 13' formed on the end wall 11 of the cylinder block 6 are formed larger than the widths W3, W4 of respective discharge ports 18, 19 formed on the control plate 12. Hereby, while stably maintaining sliding motion of the cylinder block 6 contacting with the control plate 12, excellent suction performance can be insured due to large openings 13, 13'.
